Reentry Sisters Education Initiative

Reentry Sisters is a grassroots organization led by and for formerly and currently incarcerated women in Maine. Our Education Initiative supports women returning home from prison to pursue college degrees and workforce credentials while receiving stipends, technology, trauma-informed wellness support, and individualized case management. We combine education, healing, economic stability, and leadership development for women to build sustainable lives and become advocates for systemic change in their communities.
